By accessing or using hoshikaworks.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders at our discretion.
Prices are shown in US dollars by default. In some countries we show and charge a local price in that country’s own currency instead; whichever currency you see on the product page is the one you are charged. Shipping and any US sales tax we are required to collect are calculated at checkout. Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider at the time of purchase.
Orders shipped outside the United States:the total you pay us covers the product and shipping only. It does not include import duty, VAT, or customs charges. Most countries charge those when the parcel arrives, and the carrier will usually collect them from you, along with a handling fee of their own, before they hand the parcel over. In the UK and much of the EU that is commonly around 20% of the order value. These charges are set by your own government, not by us. We cannot calculate or collect them in advance, and they are the recipient’s responsibility. Please check your own country’s rules before ordering.
We make every effort to display product colors and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display will be exact. Minor variations in handcrafted or buildable products are normal and not considered defects.
Some items on the Site are sold as pre-orders, including the first run of the Moss Railway Shrine. A pre-order means you pay the full price today and the kit ships later, once it has been made. It is not a deposit and not a waiting list: it is payment in full for something that does not exist yet.
Payment: taken in full when you place the order, not when it ships.
Shipping window: every pre-order shows its own window on the product page and again at checkout, on the screen where you pay. For the First Departure of the Moss Railway Shrine that window is Q1 2027.
If we miss that window:we will email you before it ends and give you a choice. You can take a full refund, or you can accept a revised shipping date. If you decline the new date, we refund you in full. If you simply don’t reply, we refund you in full anyway: no answer counts as declining, and you never lose your money by not answering an email. Refunds go back to your original payment method, and we charge no fee for any of this.
This is the remedy the US Federal Trade Commission’s Mail Order Rule (16 CFR Part 435) requires, and we apply it to every order wherever you live. It sits on top of your right to cancel before shipping and the returns described in Section 5, and nothing in that section takes it away.
Delivery dates are estimates. Once a parcel is with the carrier we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, by customs, or by other events outside our control.
That covers the journey, not the promise. If a pre-order misses its stated shipping window, the notice and the refund you are owed under Section 4 still apply in full.
Before your order ships: cancel any time for a full refund. No fee, no questions. Write to [email protected] or reply to your order confirmation.
Damaged, defective, or missing pieces:we send replacement parts free of charge. No forms, no return required. If a kit arrives damaged beyond what parts can fix, we’ll replace it. Contact us with your order number and a photo. A replacement kit carries a different boarding number — numbers are printed once and never reissued — and anything you have already signed on the wall stays exactly as it is.
Change of mind:you have 30 days from delivery. If the kit is unopened and in its original packaging, write to [email protected] and we’ll send return instructions; once it arrives back, we’ll refund the purchase price in full (return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility). If you’ve already opened the kit, contact us anyway. We handle opened kits case by case, and we may issue a refund without requiring a return.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5 business days of approval; your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to post it.
All content on the Site, including text, images, illustrations, logos, character designs, product designs, and branding, is the property of Hoshika Works or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Site without our prior written consent.
If you submit content to us (such as reviews, photos, or messages), you grant Hoshika Works a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with our business. You represent that you own or have the right to share any content you submit.
The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hoshika Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
